Powers/Abilities: Zoran was a trained hand-to-hand warrior and possessed superior strength, the ability to breathe underwater, and heightened swimming speed like standard Atlanteans.

History:

(Sub-Mariner III#5 (fb) - BTS) - An Atlantean who believed that Atlantis should rule the surface world, Zoran organized other Atlanteans into following him in his plots over the years. He was disgusted by Namor's constant actions on the surface world, and developed hatred for Namor's generals, including Argos. When Zoran found Namor's abandoned son, Kamar, far from Atlantis, Zoran raised Kamar himself. He lied to Kamar about Namor's actions and made Kamar hate his father and join Zoran's cause. In time, he assigned Kamar to lead a mission on the surface. Kamar lead Arath, an Atlantean capable of absorbing the powers of others, and Krakos, who possessed superior strength, to Atlantis. Arath absorbed the powers of the deadly Nitro, who could explode himself and destroy entire cities. Using technology that allowed them to disguise themselves as humans and breathe oxygen, Kamar then lead his men to Bentonville, Kansas, a small town where they decided to begin their war against the surface world.

(Sub-Mariner III#1 (fb) - BTS) - Kamar's group killed nearly 1000 humans when Arath exploded.

(Sub-Mariner III#3 (fb)) - While Kamar lead Krakos and Arath in setting up the deadly Extractor (a device that would kill humans by pulling the oxygen out of their air, causing them to suffocate) in Seattle, Washington, Zoran marshaled his army to attack Atlantis while Namor was away, planning on taking down Argos and the others.

(Sub-Mariner III#4 (fb) - BTS) - Zoran sent his men, lead by Vayos, to Atlantis' Central Power Facility to disable it and kill the scientists there. When Vayos failed to return, Zoran prepared to lead his men in battle, but Argos arrived with Vayos' head in hand. Battle commenced between the two groups of Atlanteans. Argos ordered Cirin to lead some Atlanteans back to protect the palace.
