History:
(Strange II#2 (fb) - BTS) - Baroshtok was the caretaker of an uninhabited dimension that Dr. Strange had unwittingly used to transport items using a particular vanishing spell. Baroshtok became very angry at having various items dumped in his realm and confronted Strange; Baroshtok would dump the items back to Earth. A treaty between the two was agreed to with Strange promising not to use that spell of transference anymore.
(Strange II#1) - Five years after the treaty, Strange was stripped of his Sorcerer Supreme status and later trapped with a natural magical adept, Casey Kinmont, by the demon Tul'uth. Unable to hold his hands a particular way to get rid of of the magical binds, he taught Kinmont the spell and she was able to banish the magical constraints.
(Strange II#2) - Unaware of the dangers, Kinmont continued to use the same spell, banishing various obstacles, from annoying mobile phones to wheel clamps and a delivery van; these ended up in Baroshtok's home dimension. Strange encountered Kinmont again, but unseen Baroshtok opened an interdimensional portal and flung the items back to Earth, as well as several magical creatures. Unable to cast the creatures back and with Strange unable to help, Kinmont instead used the spell on herself and Strange to cross into Baroshtok's domain. There they were confronted the enormous and angry caretaker. Strange pleaded that Kinmont had intended no harm and that she, like Baroshtok, was lonely. Baroshtok chose to be lenient and dispatched the two home, also removing the foreign magical creatures.
(Strange II#4) - Strange's body sat unprotected while the magician was on the astral plane. The villain Silver Dagger used this opportunity to strike at Strange and was about to kill him when Kinmont appeared. Although weakened, she used the spell of transference to make Silver Dagger's blade vanish. Angered, Silver Dagger attacked Kinmont, but Baroshtok broke through, his enormous bulk crushing and knocking out Silver Dagger. Strange, now back in his body, asked Baroshtok not to take Kinmont away, but the caretaker refused, declaring that they had indeed known the consequences. Baroshtok then announced that he no longer trusted Strange and would permanently seal the dimensional bridge. Baroshtok then vanished, still holding the inert form of Kinmont.

I guess you could put him as Behind The Scenes for many of the vanishing spells in Strange's early career.
The spell of transference to Baroshtok's realm required a particular hand gesture with the words: "Venix holbrum ascaria".
