History:
(X-Men Unlimited I#30/3 (fb) - BTS) - Jimmy Bodine had just broken up with Barbara, his latest girlfriend, and had been taken to the local bar by his sister, Sue Ann, and his best friend, Billy Lansdale, to help him get over it.
(X-Men Unlimited I#30/3) - Jimmy was watching Rogue dancing carefree and was attracted to her when his sister rushed in and told him that Billy was trying to make a fool of W.C. Taylor and the anti-mutant ideology of the Friends of Humanity. The two siblings went outside and saw Rogue challenge Taylor's bigotry. Jimmy went after Rogue when she walked away from the verbal confrontation and they spoke briefly when Sue Ann appeared and told them that the verbal fight had descended into a beating for Lansdale. Jimmy ran to the aid of Billy who had been knocked down and kicked by Mr. Hanratty, with Jimmy punching the attacker aside. Rogue appeared and destroyed a truck as a brawl developed outside the bar between the Friends of Humanity members and Jimmy and his friends from the bar. Hanratty's thugs were beaten and arrested when the police arrived. Jimmy followed and spoke with Rogue as she disappeared into the night. Jimmy expressed his interest in seeing Rogue but she warned him of her mutant powers requiring no skin contact between her and her loved ones. Jimmy said that he also wanted something physical in a relationship and the two parted as she flew off into the night. She told him that her hope had been rekindled that mutants and humans could live together.

Jimmy Bodine has no known connections to:
Sue Ann was the younger sister and friend of Jimmy who stood by him in the wake of his relationship break-ups. One night in a bar, after initially encouraging him to dance with Rogue, she told him that his best friend, Billy (who was also dating her), was challenging and mocking Taylor and the Friends of Humanity hate group. She later told her brother of the brawl and they ran back to help Billy.
--X-Men Unlimited I#30/3
Billy Lansdale was Jimmy's best friend and was in a relationship with Billy's sister. The night that Jimmy encountered Rogue, he had gone outside and had started to mock Taylor and his newly adopted hate group. Despite Sue Ann's warning, he continued and a fight broke out with Hanratty, the local leader of the Friends of Humanity, leading the violence. Billy was soon backed up by Jimmy and a brawl between the bar patrons and the Friends of Humanity ensued until it was broken up by the police.
--X-Men Unlimited I#30/3
Mr. Hanratty was the local leader and firebrand of the group of notably men who claimed membership with the hate group, Friends of Humanity. He donned the red headband of the group. He was a savage brawler but was knocked out by Rogue in the fight outside the bar. When the police arrived, Hanratty was arrested locked up in jail.
--X-Men Unlimited I#30/3
Taylor was a little naive and had just joined the Friends of Humanity hate group. Billy Lansdale pretended that he was interested in also joining up, but was actually poking fun at Taylor and anti-mutant philosophy. Rogue also challenged Taylor's bigotry. However, Taylor realized what was going on and soon his Friends of Humanity colleagues were beating Lansdale up. He was involved in the brawl, with his truck destroyed in the process, and likely arrested along with many of the other Friends of Humanity members.
