History:
(Wolverine: Dangerous Games#1/2 (fb) - BTS) - Klahan was a monk in a temple in Bangkok where Logan (Wolverine) would go to for meditation and calm his inner bestial personality. He and his fellow monks performed charitable acts to help the local community.
(Wolverine: Dangerous Games#1/2) - On one visit, Logan non-violently pressured the local criminal gangs to reduce their criminal activities. Klahan was thankful and asked him not to give in to violence. Logan was distracted by Dao, a local crimelord, who sent four of her enforcers to beat up and slaughter all the monks at the temple. Logan arrived too late, but killed all the criminals. Barely alive, Klahan implored Logan not to submit to violence but died in Logan's arms. Logan nevertheless changed into Wolverine to exact revenge.

In Thai, Klahan means "courageous" or "brave," but I can't determine if it is purely a first name or surname.
The story ends with the suggestion that Wolverine the killer and Logan the honorable philosopher are two different personas aware of the other.
This story was reprinted in Uncanny X-Force#25 (July, 2012).

Dao came to Thailand from Burma and became a local crimelord in Bangkok, possibly after enduring several years of forced prostitution. She had a dove tattoo on her hip. To counter Logan's and the monks' efforts against crime syndicates, who lured him to her house away from the temple so that four of her armed men could kill the monks. However, Logan resisted her apparent amorous advances and he went back to find the monks massacred and brutally murdered their killers. He recognized one killer's dove tattoo to be the same as on Dao. Meanwhile, she was surprised to learn that all her men had been killed and was ready with a gun when Wolverine returned and shot him several times at close range. Wolverine killed her.
