Special#4 (1995)
History:
(Marvel
Swimsuit Special#4 (fb) – BTS) – Hoping to boost Madripoor’s tourism
trade,
Prince Baran invited numerous superheroes (and some less heroic types)
to
Madripoor.
(Marvel Swimsuit Special#4) – Despite having reservations that the abundance of heroes would impede potential "business," Tyger Tiger nonetheless decided to let the heroes remain after some coercing by Wolverine. During the heroes' stay there, She-Hulk aided Madripoor in retrieving archaeological treasures from the deep while Rick Jones caught up on his manga comic collection and Venom took in a bit of fishing. Despite the Enchantress' attempt to charm an entire local beach and Nightmare's localized dream warp, many of the heroes continued to enjoy themselves. Dr. Strange managed to fit in some sun while Cyclops and Phoenix enjoyed some private time together. Tigra playfully stalked the Black Panther while Elektra enjoyed the bathhouses and Typhoid Mary impeded Daredevil's flying disc practice. As Colossus took in some surfing, the New Warriors played a game of "Speedball," in which they punched a ricocheting Speedball back and forth over a web-net created by the Scarlet Spider. The Hulk enjoyed time with his wife Betty while Northstar shared some time with the Pantheon’s Hector. Despite all of the fun and festivities, Doc Samson managed to get in a bit of psychoanalysis of some of the local women. As the festivities came to a close, Tyger Tiger thought to herself that it really wasn't so bad to have heroes in Madripoor and she looked forward to receiving that kind of attention from Wolverine sometime in the future.

the previous Marvel Swimsuit

Captain
America has a page in the
Marvel Swimsuit Special#4, but the image is actually a photograph from
1943
showing Pvt. Steve Rogers posing on the Madripoor beach with a dancing
native.
In
the New Warriors group shot,
there was a character with blond hair & a strange logo on his
shorts. The
only blonde guys on the New Warriors I knew were Scarlet Spider and
Powerpax.
The logo on the shorts did not look even remotely like a spider. It
looked
closest to a miscolored Power Pack costume logo, hence I chose to
identify the
character as Powerpax.
The
X-Men’s Gambit and Rogue
were pictured on the issue's cover but are not seen within the issue.
