Powers/Abilities: Vandal is an inventive genius; his inventions include numerous high-tech firearms, a hologram projector, the Mechamorph, Gauntlet's power glove, a robotic "repo man", and Scar the Stalker's armor.
History: (Nightwatch#4 (fb) ) - At some point in the past, youthful underworld inventor Vandal encountered the bounty hunter Warrant.
(Nightwatch#3 - BTS/Nightwatch#4 (fb) ) - "The Kingpin" (secretly Alfredo Morelli) hired Vandal to reverse-engineer the power glove he'd purloined from Nightwatch, to free him from prison and to kill Nightwatch; Vandal sent the robotic Mechamorph to do the latter two tasks. It successfully freed Morelli, but failed to kill Nightwatch and was destroyed.
(Nightwatch#4) - The escaped Morelli sped to Vandal's brownstone weapons lab, where a holographic projection of the inventor met him. Morelli refused to pay for the Mechamorph, as it had failed to kill Nightwatch, and grabbed the new power glove, despite the high-voltage defensive shield protecting it. With the glove now fused to his hand, Morelli collapsed, just in time for Warrant, tracking the fugitive, to burst in. Warrant fired a tranquillizer dart at Vandal, not realizing his opponent was a hologram. Vandal taunted him and shut off the hologram.
(Felicia Hardy: The Black Cat#3) - Escaped convict Brian Lash bought equipment from Vandal to become Scar the Stalker, in order to avenge himself on his old partner Felicia Hardy. Lash grabbed Vandal by the throat and threatened to take the gear without paying for it, but was himself grabbed by Vandal's robotic "repo man". He promptly paid and left.

"Vandal" kind of seems like a weird name for a guy who builds things.
