Appearance: Nightwatch#1 (April, 1994)
History: (Nightwatch#1 (fb) ) - The villainous Gauntlet hired Warforce, a mercenary team assembled by the cyborg Salvo, to break him out of jail in the guise of recruiting his cellmate, the assassin Deep.
(Nightwatch#1) – Warforce hijacked a
news
helicopter and took it to Ryker’s
Island, where they
demanded the release of Deep. Before a number of hostage
reporters, Salvo made their
demands, but
he was interrupted when the vigilante Nightwatch
attacked. As the prison guards tossed in smoke bombs, Salvo gave the
order to
execute the hostages. Nightwatch disarmed Tranq and Cutter, but Salvo blasted him,
damaging his
costume. Spider-Man soon joined the fray, and shielded the hostages
with a
web-barrier. While Nightwatch and the
web-slinger
took on Warforce, Salvo and Shell slipped
away to the
helicopter and escaped. As the two heroes took down the remaining
mercenaries,
the guards opened fire on the copter, killing Shell while Salvo
escaped. Nightwatch soon chased down and
captured Salvo.

Given that
Salvo is connected to Morelle
Pharmaceuticals, as are
like 90% of Nightwatch’s enemies, I
don’t think it’s
implausible to suggest that the botched steroid experiment that
empowered Tranq was a Morelle
project.
It’s kind of hard to tell, but the Impakov Twins are dwarves. And not, like, Asgardian dwarves, but little people. There’s a man and a woman, I think.
Yeah, not a lot of good images of Warforce members outside of the main. Shell is the woman, Tranq is the big bald guy, Cutter is the guy with the mask, the Impakov Twins are the two little people, and Salvo is the redheaded guy with dinky shoulder guns.
So Warforce is a mercenary team created by Terry Kavanagh, and it has a name with “force” in it, a set of twins, and also a member named “Shell”. Sound familiar?
You know what's fun to
say? Warforce. Warforce Warforce Warforce.
