History: (Avengers Academy #14.1 (fb) ) - Cold-generating sixteen-year-old Steve Beaulieu was one of the super-powereed teenagers taken in by HAMMER director Norman Osborn for a secret research program. Due to his intense desire to be a superhero, Steve didn't have to be tortured or threatened to undergo Osborn's experiments; Osborn promised him a spot on an Initiative team, and that was enough 

(Avengers Academy#14.1 (fb) ) - After Osborn's defeat and disgrace in Broxton, Oklahoma, Steve was sent home to Buffalo; his parents, wanting him to have a normal life, forbade him from enrolling in Avengers Academy. He started sneaking out at night as a costumed hero; while investigating a series of cattle mutilations, he found their perpetrator; a monstrous Wendigo (which had secretly been brought to Buffalo by fellow Osborn experimentee Jeremy Briggs). Unable to harm the mystical creature, Steve was killed - all according to Briggs' plan to discredit traditional superheroics in the eyes of Avengers Academy's students.

We also never see Steve with his eyes open or next to a good frame of reference for his height, so those stats will remain forever unrevealed, barring a highly-unlikely resurrection.
