History:
(Black Panther II#1 (fb) - BTS) - Moise Bomvana attended the great universities and became a member of the Order of the Panther, where he met Malaika. Much later, back in Wakanda, he watched the Black Panther (T'Challa, who had lost his connection to the Panther God) struggle overcoming two black panthers.
(Black Panther II#1) - Returning to the royal palace, Bomvana praised T'Challa's skills in overcoming the two panthers, but saw that the experience had taxed him. The next day, he stood by as T'Challa adressed Wakandans about rising race-based tensions with neighboring Azania, condemning the violent uprisings. Bomvana defended his king when elder politician Ndebele accused T'Challa of being a traitor. Wakandan priest Mendinao ordered that T'Challa prove his link to the Panther God by tackling the White Ape (the adversary of the Panther God). Bomvana traveled with the retinue but secretly used an electronic device that sapped the strength of a white ape, allowing T'Challa to be triumphant. However, Ndebele identified the interference. Bomvana was sent into exile while T'Challa had to step down from the throne.
(Black Panther II#2) - Bomvana made his way to France to see Malaika, a fellow member of the Order of the Panther, and used her covert channels to contact T'Challa with new information about Azanian aggression against Wakanda.
(Black Panther II#3) - Bomvana, back in Wakanda but under censure and house arrest, would not cooperate with the tribal council, but spoke later with Ndebele about loyalty to T'Challa.
(Black Panther II#4) - Bomvana stood as T'Challa, newly restored to the throne, received the Robe of Ascendancy fom Mendinao, only to see T'Challa let it fall as he left to confront the Panther God in the jungle. Bomvana followed him for a short while.
