Powers/Abilities: Claw carries explosive grenades and fireworks, and wears wrist-mounted grappling claws and gas-blasters. He is highly athletic and acrobatic, although he is sometimes hindered by his incessant egotism and womanizing.
History: (Spider-Girl I#73) - Planning to steal a fortune in gems, Claw, the self-proclaimed "world's greatest cat burglar", spent twenty minutes setting up a rig so he could rappel through a skylight. Just as he started his descent, he was set upon by Spider-Girl, who had mistaken his rig for Lady Octopus. He abandoned his rig and fired a blast of gas at her, which she evaded, and a grappling claw, which she tore off. He fled to another rooftop, flirting with his foe all the while, but she was not amused, and grabbed him by the collar. He distracted her with fireworks and escaped to a nearby balcony, where he hit on two women who were dining there. When Spider-Girl caught up to him, he leapt away, throwing a grenade into a water tower and catching Spider-Girl in the resulting torrent. Unfortunately for Claw, he ran right into US government agent Arthur Weadon and his team of reformed super villains. Undaunted, he hit on Weadon's agent Raptor as he was led away.
