Powers/Abilities: Given the ancestry of her codename, it's presumed the woman who took over the mantle of the Crimson Commando possessed powers similar to the original Commando. This would mean she'd be able to operate at peak human condition with enhanced strength and reflexes. She also might have possessed the Commando's ability to act on pure instinct, making herself invisible to telepaths. If she shared his retarded aging is not revealed
History:
(X-Men II#106 - BTS) - The Crimson Commando was selected by a disguised Mystique to join the latest incarnation of her Brotherhood of Evil Mutants as a trainee. Taking on the codename of Mystique's fallen Freedom Force comrade, she began training along the other members of the Brotherhood.
(X-Men II#106) - Crimson Commando and other new trainee, Sabre were trained by the members of the Brotherhood in an abandoned steel mill. Mystique still kept her true identity a secret to these freshmen and deemed them still untested neophytes.
Comments: Created by Chris Claremont
When Mystique and her Brotherhood of Evil Mutants appeared next in Uncanny X-Men I#388 and Cable II#87 in an assassination attempt on Senator Kelly, their new recruits weren't amongst them. And never again for that matter.
The career of the female Crimson Commando was short but sweet. When Mystique properly debuted her new Brotherhood in Uncanny X-Men I#388, the Commando wasn't a part of the team and hasn't been seen since. In fact, her codename was only established in an interview by creator Chris Claremont, who divulged he would be adding a new Super Sabre, Mastermind, and Crimson Commando to the Brotherhood.
