Powers/Abilities: DoctOranguntan possessed the standard abilities of an adult Orangutan aside from his genius human intelligence that enabled him to perform complex scienctific feats in the genetics field. He was also a highly trained hand-to-hand combatant.
History:
(Avengers 1959#5 (fb) - BTS) - Herman Goering often went boar hunting with DoctOrangutan.
(Avengers 1959#5 (fb) - BTS) - DoctOrangutan joined Geoffrey Sydenham's cause.
(Avengers 1959#4) - DoctOrangutan landed in Wakanda alongside Count von Blitzkrieg, General Skul, Fritz Kron, Leopard Woman and Vunderknight to raid Wakanda and steal its advanced technology.
(Avengers 1959#5) - The Avengers of 1959 stopped Sydenham's Third Reich sympathizers. DoctOrangutan was knocked unconscious by Kraven.
(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z HC#4 - Fight-Man) - DoctOrangutan created the feline Katmandingo and the bear-like Ursino. He ended up in Delta City where he was aided by his creations and used his genius to augment several of Fight-Man's enemies for the right price, including Big Strong Man, Bigger Stronger Man, Biggest Strongest Man, Fisticuff-Woman, Glass-Eye Freddie and Metalhead.
(Agent X#11 (fb) - BTS) - DoctOrangutan, a genius ape who speaks with a German accent, incorporated as A.P.E. (Advanced Physical Engineering).
(Agent X#11 (fb) - BTS) - DoctOrangutan attempted to transfer powers to a test monkey, who escaped by flying away.
(Agent X#11) - DoctOrangutan, along with several other villains, occupied the office of Delta City's mayor.
DoctOrangutan rounded up five of the 'biggest and not so brightest' members of the All-Hate Squad, including Katmandingo, Mr. Density, Quickstart, Roman Candle and Shockjock, to use them as power sources to infuse Beverly Lacoco with super-abilities.
DoctOrangutan and Kenny Liebman, having been successful in making Beverly Lacoco one of the most powerful girls in the world, were apparently killed by her using her newfound flame breath.
