History:
(New
Excalibur#18 (fb)) – After extradimensional warlords
took over Earth-70518 and were confronted by its super-powered Albion,
they
attempted to flee via the Dimensional Doorway device. Locating a
suitable
alternate Earth to flee to, the warlords opened the portal, only for
Captain Prydain of Earth-7580 to emerge. Defeating the warlords and
finding
Albion
himself, Captain Prydain was defeated by Albion when he was
shocked to see
Albion’s face matching that of the Otherworld ruler, Brian Braddock.
Taking Captain Prydain with him, Albion
then used the Dimensional Doorway to travel to Captain Prydain’s home
reality
of Earth-7580, where he slew Captain Prydain for attacking him. Albion
then
announced that he and his comrades would take Earth-7580 as their own,
plotting
to strip Roma of her champions and Brian Braddock.

Not much was seen of Earth-7580, so it was unclear whether this was an alternate Earth or a divergent Earth. My guess is that it was an alternate Earth, given its brown-haired Captain Britain.
Prydain is the Welsh name for Britain, dating back to medieval times.
This would suggest that the British Isles of Earth-7580 were dominated
by Wales, rather than England, and that the island of Britain might well
be the island of Prydain in that reality. Since Captain Prydain's
costume includes an identical color scheme and similar layout to the
Union Flag, it is still likely that England, Wales, Scotland and perhaps
Ireland (part or all) formed a united kingdom as they did in our world.

The
Dimensional Doorways were a series of devices that existed in multiple
realities,
Earth-7580 included. Each device was capable of searching the
multiverse for
other realities and opening a doorway between its home reality and a
reality
also containing a Dimensional Doorway. On Earth-70518, a Dimensional
Doorway
was used by extradimensional warlords in an attempt to flee the violent
Albion
of that reality. Locating Earth-7580, the Dimensional Doorway opened a
portal
between Earth-70518 and Earth-7580, allowing Earth-7580’s Captain
Prydain to
enter Earth-70518 via Earth-7580’s Dimensional Doorway, where he was
defeated
by Albion-70518. Taken back through the Dimensional Doorway to
Earth-7580,
Captain Prydain was killed by Albion.
