History

(Spider-Man Cyber Comic#7: Sandblasted! - Part One (fb) - BTS) - The Freaks were members of the Coney Island freakshow who would also commit criminal acts for the right price. One of Sandman's goons, Skratchetti, visited the Coney Island Pier, where he tasked them with opening a crate containing a jewel-encrusted mirror.

(Spider-Man Cyber Comic#7: Sandblasted! - Part One) - The Freaks attempted to break into the crate with crowbars, each complaining about how tough it was to break into. Sandman eventually arrived and took the job out of the Freaks' hands by entering the crate and forcing sand against all sides of the crate, smashing it and revealing the supernatural mirror inside. Spider-Man soon arrived and battled the Sandman, who was zapped by sunlight reflected from the mirror.

(Spider-Man Cyber Comic#7: Sandblasted! - Part Two) - As Spider-Man and Sandman (who had been split into six tiny versions of himself by the supernatural mirror) battled on the Coney Island boardwalk, Marge watched the fight with the other bystanders.

(Spider-Man Cyber Comic#7: Sandblasted! - Part Three) - Marge continued to watch the fight with the other bystanders.

(Spider-Man Cyber Comic#7: Sandblasted! - Part Four) - As Peter Parker left Coney Island following the defeat of Sandman, Marge offered to share her Extra-Super-Mighty-Shake with Parker, who commented that Marge could do better.

Comments: Created by D. G. "Hermit Crab" Chichester and Daerick "Draw a Line in the Sand" Gross.

This story appeared to occur early in Spider-Man's career, as Peter Parker worked for the Daily Bugle (with Betty Brant as Jameson's secretary), still wore glasses and still lived with Aunt May. At one point, Spider-Man mentions having run into Thor, so it would occur at some point after at least Spider-Man's first meeting of Thor while also at a time when Peter Parker still wore glasses...

I should also point out that the page numbers given in the image locations part of this profile are up to interpretation, given how the Cyber Comics were more similar to a motion comic. The pages contained slightly different images (such as Spider-Man entering a splash page when he was not originally on the page) as the comic progressed. The Cyber Comics were more like watching a movie that you controlled the progression of by clicking.

The Amazing Pinhead's name was not revealed in story but was listed on a sign in the Coney Island freakshow. Tess the tattooed man's name was only revealed on a sign that was only partially shown. The sign stated "Tess—the  To—" so I'm unsure as to what the full sign stated. The sign is seen in Part Two of the comic but the words are covered and all the reader sees is a picture of Tess.

Upon doing some research, I could not find the exact release date of this particular Cyber Comic. It was obviously released after Spider-Man Cyber Comic#1 (which was released on July 18, 1996) and before Spider-Man Cyber Comic#8 (released on January 31, 1997). I would estimate this Cyber Comic was released in late 1996 or early January 1997.

I feel like there needs to be a comment to the effect of comparing Marge to large Marge from Pee wee Herman's Big Adventure.

Amazing Pinhead Amazing Pinhead

The Amazing Pinhead was one of the Freaks working for Sandman. He had an enlarged forehead and, like the other Freaks, was tasked with opening the crate containing the jewel-laden mirror. During the task, the Amazing Pinhead complained about how tough it was to get into the crate.

The Amazing Pinhead did not appear to possess any superhuman powers but he carried a crowbar.

Marge Marge

Marge was an obese and pretty large member of the Freaks. She, like the other Freaks, was tasked with getting into the crate containing the jewel-encrusted mirror. During the task, she complained about how tough it was to get into the crate, commenting that she was really working up an appetite. The tattooed member of the Freaks exclaimed that Marge could work up an appetite by inhaling. After Sandman arrived and opened the crate, Spider-Man appeared on the scene and began battling the Sandman. Marge managed to immerse herself into the crowd on onlookers, commenting to "Flash" Thompson that Spider-Man's hard landing into a rollercoaster cart was the reason why people should never skimp on padding for the carts. As Spider-Man continued to battle Sandman, Marge and the other onlookers worried about the safety of watching the fight, with one of the bystanders commenting that Spider-Man could handle anything. Marge expressed her hopes that Spider-Man did not hit the hot dog stand. When Spider-Man angled the out-of-control Cyclone rollercoaster cart into a billboard of J. Jonah Jameson, Jameson exclaimed Spider-Man to be a masked menace, prompting Marge to comment about how cute she thought Spider-Man was. Jameson nearly told Marge about her lack of common sense but upon seeing the size of Marge, Jameson retracted his words and grumbled that perhaps Spider-Man was kind of cute. Following the defeat of Sandman, Spider-Man changed back into his Peter Parker civilian clothes but left Coney Island after seeing Betty Brant with "Flash" Thompson. As Parker left, Marge was drinking an Extra-Super-Mighty-Shake and offered to share it with Peter, who commented that Marge could do better than him.

Marge did not possess any superhuman powers but carried a crowbar.

SkratchettiSkratchetti

Skratchetti was one of Sandman’s goons who informed Sandman of the arrival of the jewel-encrusted mirror and that the Freaks were working on getting the crate containing the mirror open. Sandman explained to Skratchetti that if his information about the mirror was true, then Skratchetti had earned his money. If the information was false, Skratchetti would be earning himself an early grave. After Sandman managed to break into the crate, revealing the mirror Skratchetti had told him about, Sandman commented to himself that Skratchetti was going to live.
