History:
(Avengers
I#100) – Upon gaining the Ebony Blade, Ares
ventured into Olympus’ Temple of the Promethean Flame where he found
the
Guardian. The Guardian of the Promethean Flame warned Ares that the
Temple was
off-limits to all except himself, who reports only to Zeus. Not
concerned with
the Guardian’s warnings, Ares fatally stabbed the Guardian with the
Ebony Blade
and continued to the Promethean Flame itself.
