History: (Spider-Boy I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Despite the Daily Bugle's constant tabloid headlines such as "Insect Queen has Spider-Boy's Love Child!," Project: Cadmus' Dr. Otto Octavius
set Spider-Boy up on a date with Insect Queen, who was the daughter of
Octavius' friend's friend. Octavius managed to set up the date for 8pm
at Spider-Boy's headquarters.
(Spider-Boy I#1) - Upon seeing the Daily Bugle's newest headline, Spider-Boy's agent Rex Leech confronted Spider-Boy about the Bugle's accusations, warning that the headline could spell trouble for Spider-Boy. While Rex also commented that it could mean a movie of the week, which he had covered already, he asked Spider-Boy if he even knew Insect Queen or if they did have some sort of status together. Ignoring Rex's questions, Spider-Boy used his Web-Slinger catapult to launch himself towards the Daily Bugle, where he assumed his disguise as Pete Ross, Bugle photographer. Inside, publisher J. Jonah Jameson asked Pete Ross his opinion on the next day's headline of "Spider-Boy Secretly Weds the Insect Queen" before Ross disappeared to take care of a rampaging King Lizard. After the battle, Spider-Boy was met by Dr. Otto Octavius, who reminded Spider-Boy of his date and introduced him to Insect Queen, who exclaimed that Spider-Boy had hit the jackpot.
(Spider-Boy Team-Up I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Spider-Boy asked Insect Queen to marry him, prompting Rex Leech to begin planning what was surely to be the wedding of the century. Spider-Boy's headquarters became nicknamed as "Web Wedding Central" and Rex promised sponsors that the wedding would be bigger than John, Jr. and Charles and Di but had never heard of the wedding of Lois and someone Rex was unfamiliar with. Later, when Earth-12772's Legion of Galactic Guardians revealed themselves on Earth-9602 and attempted to help Spider-Boy save the life of the injured Mig-El Gand, Spider-Boy reminded them of his engagement to Insect Queen when they tried to give him a Legion Anti-Grav Ring. When the Legion returned to their own future timeline, they explained that once Spider-Boy was married, his life would never be the same again.

Amalgam characters are

In case it's not obvious, Insect Queen (Earth-9602) was the Amalgam universe combination of Mary Jane Watson & DC's Lana Lang.
While Insect Queen did not display any powers, it's
possible that, given the eight-legged chest insignia of her costume,
that she had some sort of spidery powers. Maybe she was "the Bride" in her reality, in terms of Spider-Verse totems?
