Due to his extended period in the Phantom-Negative Zone, Spider-Boy 2099 was capable of moving around within Kang's timeless Limbo field.

As a member of the Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099, Spider-Boy 2099 wore a Legion Anti-Grav Ring that allowed its wearer to defy gravity and fly through the air. He also had access to the Legion's Time Square Generator, which could create a cube around its user and transport them to any point in time and reality.

History: (Spider-Boy Team-Up I#1 (fb) - BTS) - After being placed in the Phantom-Negative Zone by his reality's Spider-Boy in hopes that he could be cured of his injuries suffered during a battle with Scavulture, young Mig-El Gand remained in the Phantom-Negative Zone for decades before being released by the Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099, who were able to pull Mig-El from the Phantom-Negative Zone using a Phantom-Negative Zone Projector. In order to save Mig-El's life, he was infused with spider DNA based on research performed by the heroic Spider-Boy that granted him spider-like superhuman powers. He eventually joined the Legion of Galactic Guardians as the new Spider-Boy. Spider-Boy 2099 later remained behind in case of an attack by Kang the Time Conqueror as the Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099 traveled to the modern era of Earth-9602 to ensure that Earth-9602's Mig-El Gand was placed into the Phantom-Negative Zone to be awakened in the future.

(Spider-Boy Team-Up I#1) - When Kang the Time Conqueror froze the Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099 in Limbo and began separating Spider-Boy into his component parts in a plot to control the Omniverse, Spider-Boy 2099 used a Time Square to travel to Earth-9602 and rescue Spider-Boy. Helping Spider-Boy pull himself back together, Spider-Boy 2099 and Earth-9602's Spider-Boy webbed up Kang and removed his helmet, revealing him as Chronos-Tut the Time Pharaoh. Unable to maintain the Limbo state without his helmet, Kang disappeared in a temporal explosion. Surviving the explosion, Spider-Boy 2099 realized that the Legion's efforts to ensure Earth-9602's Mig-El would become Spider-Boy in 2099 were successful. Shocked that Spider-Boy 2099 was Mig-El Gand, whom he had supposedly just sent to the Phantom-Negative Zone, Earth-9602's Spider-Boy asked what was going on. Spider-Boy 2099 then explained his origins to Spider-Boy-9602 before returning to his own time period with the Legion. As he left, Spider-Boy 2099 informed Spider-Boy-9602 that he would not be dying anytime soon and that his career would never be the same after his marriage.

Marvel characters are listed in regular, or bold black type.
DC characters are listed in bold blue type.
Amalgam characters are listed in bold purple type.

In case you're confused, Amalgam Comics didn't really exist beyond those seen in the few DC/Marvel cross-overs. The titles you don't recognize are amalgams of similar Marvel and DC comics--Snood.

While Mig-El Gand was seen stealing & ultimately using Spider-Boy's web gun to aid Spider-Boy against Scavulture, the child seen being sent into the Phantom-Negative Zone in Spider-Boy Team-Up I#1 was actually Mig-El's Earth-9602 counterpart, whom the Legion of Galactic Guardians were attempting to ensure would one day become the Spider-Boy of 2099.
