History: (Amazing Spider-Man III#11 (fb) - BTS) - Before he was infected with the lycanthropy virus, which happened under unrevealed circumstances, the future Spider-Wolf operated as his reality's Spider-Totem, presumably fighting crime and even dressing in his version of the traditional Spider-Man costume. After he became a werewolf, he quickly rose to prominence, earning himself the nickname "Great Spider-Wolf of the Lycansphere" and even moving into a castle. Spider-Wolf's totemistic energy patterns were eventually picked up by the Master Weaver, unwilling servant of the Spider-Totem-absorbing Inheritors of Earth-001. He recorded Earth-13989 as a possible feeding location.
(Amazing Spider-Man III#11) - The Master Weaver guided
Karn of the Inheritors to Earth-13989, where he faced Spider-Wolf. After
a brief but ferocious fight, the outerdimensional villain proved
victorious. Spider-Wolf, bleeding on the steps of his own castle, barely
had time to utter a final "awrooo" before he was slain by Karn. Karn's fight against
Spider-Wolf was observed by the Inheritor Solus. Unimpressed by his
son's victory, he ordered Master Weaver to send Karn to another world,
adding it had better be "somewhere challenging this time."

What can one say about a Spider-Totem that only appeared
in a single panel, which also happened to be his death scene? It might
be possible that Spider-Wolf was actually Peter Parker who got
transformed into a werewolf. He fought plenty of them back in the
day... most notably Jack Russell but maybe Nightshade's synthetic
lycantrophy virus caused a far greater disaster on Earth-13989 then it
ever did on Earth-616.
