History:
((Adventure into) Fear#24 (fb) - BTS) - Presumably via being fatally
blood-drained by another vampire, this man was transformed into a vampire and
fed upon others' blood to maintain his existence.
((Adventure into) Fear#24) - In Chicago (see comment), the vampire held a female victim from behind in an alley as he prepared to bite her neck, but the vampire-hunter Blade witnessed this and dropped the vampire from a nearby rooftop with a wooden knife hurled into his back. Blade then leapt down from the rooftop and swiftly finished the vampire with another wooden knife that severed his neck.
Comments: Created by Steve Gerber, Craig Russell, and Jack Abel.
It really wasn't clear to me where the encounter between Blade and Morbius took place, but in the epilogue, it references Blade fruitlessly searching the nooks and crannies of the "midwestern city," and then it goes on to describe a series of railroad-yard murders perpetrated by Morbius from Chicago to Los Angeles, which is where he ended up. Seems reasonable enough to assume Chicago is where he started out.
