History: (Nick Fury's Howling Commandos Director's Cut#1 - BTS (fb) ) - At some point, the Abominable Snowman was recruited into SHIELD's Howling Commandos monster unit.
(Nick Fury's Howling Commandos#2 - BTS (fb) ) - Abominable Snowman visited a zoo, where he watched monkeys perform on bicycles.
(Nick Fury's Howling Commandos#2 - BTS (fb) ) - Abominable Snowman was paired with Sasquatch to track down the alien monster Groot. They located him by smell, realizing his tree form smelled nothing like a tree.
(Nick Fury's Howling Commandos#2) - Along with the main Commandos unit, Abominable Snowman launched an assault on Groot. He briefly fought back, but quickly surrendered after being tackled by It the Living Colossus. Afterward, Abominable Snowman commented on team director Clay Quartermain's attitude and then asked Gorilla Man why he fell off his sky-cycle during the fight when he'd seen other monkeys ride bicycles with proficiency at a zoo.
(Nick Fury's Howling Commandos#6) - Abominable Snowman was part of the massive assault on Merlin's army.
