History:
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - When he was in second grade, Hank Pym read Doctor Bruce Banner's thesis on the state of matter and energy transmutation through dimensional transfer. So impressed by the work, Pym hoped to one day meet the famous doctor.
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn - BTS) - Pym came up with a way to influence and command ants and other insects through the use of his guitar.
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - Pym proved to be a successful and popular musician, releasing several hit albums, his latest was called Alien-Ant Asylum.
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - Toni Stark invited the young artist to Stark Island where she was about to unveil the new Energy Well built by Dr. Banner. On the way to the island, Pym shared a flight with King T'Challa of Wakanda.
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn) - As Pym arrived on Stark Island he was ecstatic to see Dr. Banner who he had adored ever since second grade. After introducing himself to the doctor he was kind enough to compliment Pym on his latest album. They than made their way inside the Stark complex.
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn) - BTS) - Toni Stark held a presentation (as she had for President Rogers, Baron Mordo and Nick Fury) for Pym and T'Challa in which she revealed she had Dr. Banner build a new Energy Well that would become an unlimited source of clean energy. Unbeknownst to all present the well was a conduit to the Ethereal Realm of elder gods and monsters. After the presentation, Pym and the others retreated to their guest quarters.
(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn) - That very night Namor's Atlantic forces attacked Stark Island and Hydra attempted to kidnap Dr. Banner. They hoped to summon the elder gods back to Earth with the well, but the Stark Island security systems noticed their presence and sounded the alarm. Pym was rudely awakened by the noise and accompanied by the Wasp and T'Challa made his way to check on the energy well that was overloading. The three heroes tried to stop the well's energy from seeping out and witnessed how something (the elder god Dormmamu) was pushing to get out from the other side.
(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight) - Still fighting to keep the energy well from overloading Pym, Janet and T'Challa slowly began to recognize the well for what it truly was: a conduit to the Ethereal Realm of gods and monsters. Pym ordered Janet to try and reseal the dome while he went outside to deal with the attacking Atlantean forces. Pym started to play his guitar and summoned millions of flying ants, asking them for their help in the ongoing battle. He sent them out to assault the Atlanteans (although they didn't seem to do any real harm). Despite his attack Namor's Atlantean forces broke through Stark Island's walls, and Pym could do nothing but watch as Baron Strucker summoned his master the elder god Dormammu. Dormammu began to destroy Stark Island forcing Pym and the remaining heroes to escape. They were met by the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, right in time to team up against Dormammu's loyal servant the Hulk. The combined heroic forces of the Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the Stark Island residents battled the Hulk although they didn't seem to hurt the 245 foot tall monster one bit. It wasn't until Dr. Strange realized he could use Banner's body as a conduit to summon Thor that the tides turned. The mighty Thor channeled all the energy the heroes possessed to defeat the Hulk and Dormammu after which the gods and monster returned to the Ethereal Realm. Pym and the other heroes witnessed how, after falling in battle, Banner and Toni's souls departed Earth.
(New Mangaverse#2 - BTS) - Pym was killed by the super powered ninja's of the Hand who had set out to kill all of Earth's costumed heroes. Pym's guitar was taken as a trophy and proudly displayed on their wall amongst other trophies like Captain America's shield, Black Panther's necklace and Cyclops' visor.

Due to the Asian specific nature of the Mangaverse reality, it goes without saying that while characters might look similar to their 616 counterparts, they most likely will have distinctly different names, codenames or powers. Therefore we will only list the names when they have been used in the comics.Pym was explicitly called Hank not Henry like on Earth-616, the same goes for his code name Antman, not Ant-Man. The two blonde hairs in front of his head resemble an ant's antenna.
The Wasp and Antman were also featured on the cover of Marvel Mangaverse#6 but didn't appear in the issue.
Alient Ant-Asylum sounds like a play on American alternatie rock band Alien Ant Farm.--Markus Raymond
