History:
(X-Men: Curse of the Mutants - Blade#1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point in the past Claudia Belles and Blade worked together. Something went wrong and Claudia never forgave Blade.
(X-Men: Curse of the Mutants - Blade#1) - Belles heard rumors about Dracula's death and a power struggle between vampire sects. When people on the street heard screams from a secret vampire assimilation center she went to investigate the building. She encountered Blade inside and assaulted him. When they realized they had both heard the rumors about the power struggle between vampire sects they decided to work together. They took an elevator to the roof and found the remains of dead vampires. Belles found an Anchorite sigil, but Blade wouldn't believe Anchorites had done this and assumed Krieger Sect or Claw Sect were behind the slayings. Blade and Belles nonetheless headed to Anchorite territory in Scotland.
On the Orkney Islands in Scotland Blade and Belles found more vampire remains. They were sure they would find another vampire sigil. Blade started to believe this was all an attempt to distract them. They encountered vampire-hunter Dolly, whom Belles had never met before, and witnessed Dolly torturing an Anchorite vampire. The vampire revealed to Blade that Claw Sect, who were working for Xarus, were behind the killings. Blade slew the vampire after learning Xarus' location from him, then called for backup before heading with Belles and Dolly to Phoenix, Arizona.
Arriving at the airport in Phoenix, Arizona the trio met with Tripp and Texter, a team of vampire-hunters, who had a falling out 20 years ago. They found out Xarus was hiding out at an old army airfield near Pioneer, Arizona. Joined by 7 other vampire-hunters they planted C-4 on the airfield at night then waited for dawn to blow it up. Belles complinented Blade's plan to apologize for her behavior in Brazil. They were quiet surprised when Xarus and his vampire army consisting of Nosferatu, Claw and Krieger sect survived in the sunlight. During the fight against the vampires Belles was bitten by a member of Krieger Sect. Blade shot a stake from his crossbow in her head to grant her a quick death. Blade escaped Xarus' army as the sole survivor of the vampire-hunters.
