History:
(Avengers United They Stand#7 (fb) - BTS) - Black
Panther was the proud king of Wakanda. He and Captain America shared
history in the Avengers and had great respect
for each other.
(Avengers United They Stand#1) - Black Panther
engaged in a simple training exercise alongside Hawkeye, Tigra and Wasp
at Avengers Mansion's training room. The activation of Henry Pym's
latest experiment, Ultron, caused chaos. While the Avengers
investigated, Ultron deliberately overrode the training drones' failsafes and the
drones attacked, electrocuting Black Panther. He was nevertheless able
to help a pinned Hawkeye nock an explosive arrow that led to their
rescue, before falling unconscious. T'Challa fell into a coma and lay
in the Avengers Mansion medical bay attended by his personal Wakandan
medic, M'Tumbeh.
(Avengers United They Stand#6 (fb) - BTS) -
Transported back to Wakanda, T'Challa
lay in a coma for several months as a result of his injuries, and
blamed Pym for crippling him and Wakanda. This resentment grew and he
resolved never to be part of the Avengers while Pym led the team.
(Avengers United They
Stand#6) - Still not fully healed almost a year after Ultron's
activation and while receiving medical treatment in his Wakandan
palace, Black Panther was kidnapped by the obsessive extraterrestrial
Collector using teleportation orbs and transported to his spaceship
into individual cells, where in his giant flesh form he informed
T'Challa, the Avengers and other humans that he was saving them from an
impending extinction event. Disease-cleansing and injury-eliminating
gas knocked them out before they were released into a jungle zone.
There, T'Challa met Avengers reservist Captain America and the current
Avengers roster of Giant Man, Wasp, Falcon, Tigra, Vision, and Scarlet
Witch. T'Challa chose not to remain near Pym and went scouting with
Captain America, Hawkeye, and Falcon, but they were captured by long-term
internees, "Neanderthals", who were cult-like followers of the Collector.
(Avengers United They Stand#7) - The "Neanderthals",
led by Greymane and Scar Eye, took the three captured Avengers back to
their council for judgment. T'Challa noted their religious motifs
crafted from Vibranium. The three escaped the"Neanderthals" and
returned to their Avenger colleagues. Protected by Moon Boy, Pym used a
stolen Vibranium relic to
break
into the main spaceship. Back in the
cell-lined corridor, they again encountered the Collector. A combined
Avenger attack unexpectedly disintegrated the Collector's
flesh form, but he generated a new body from the ship's floor.
Concerned at their destructive nature, the Collector offered the
captive humans the choice to return to Earth; only a few (including
T'Challa) chose to
accompany the Avengers home in a separate spaceship. Despite Captain
America's encouragement, Black Panther still refused to rejoin the
Avengers while Pym led the group. The effects of the Collector's
rejuvenating mist wore off and T'Challa's injuries returned during the
trip back to Earth,

The source of Earth-730834's Black Panther's enhanced powers is not revealed, but is likely similar to that of Earth-616's Black Panther.
Given the work is by the same artist, it seems a bald head was a side effect of the Wakandan
treatment for his injury, as the Collector's rejuvenating mist quickly
restored his hair in the next issue.
