Spider-Man I#153 (fb) – BTS) – Bradley Bolton was a
football star at Empire State University, where he was known as "Boom
Boom"
Bolton. In a game against Metro U, Bolton messed up a final play and
ended up
quitting football. Bolton instead got a degree in computers, becoming
an
expert. Bolton took a job with Stark International, where he met the
woman who
would become his wife, Ellen. They later had a daughter, Mindy. He
wrote one
famous paper on intermolecular computer synapses.

Stark International, computer expert Dr. Bradley Bolton met his future
wife,
Ellen, and the two had a daughter, Mindy. Mindy was kidnapped by Paine,
an
agent of the Kingpin.
(Amazing Spider-Man I#153) – Bradley left a worried Ellen at a party then went to trade a component to Paine to save Mindy. When Paine threatened to keep Mindy, Bradley rushed forward to save her, which he did after taking several bullets. Spider-Man stopped Paine and the others then Bradley died with Mindy in his arms.

(Amazing Spider-Man I#153 (fb) – BTS) – An
employee of the
Kingpin, Paine kidnapped young Mindy Bolton.
(Amazing Spider-Man I#153) – Paine and his men met with Dr. Bradley Bolton and demanded the final component of the W.H.O. machine in exchange for the girl. Later, Bradley brought the component but Paine was determined to keep the girl anyway. Bolton rushed forward and grabbed his daughter but not before being shot several times. Spider-Man defeated Paine and Bolton died with his daughter in his arms.
