History:
(Wolverine:
Weapon X#11 (fb) - BTS) - Wendell Bryant went on a date with Amy,
presumably at Julio's Bar & Grill. Nervous and trying to relax, he
ordered some jello shots.
(Wolverine: Weapon X#11) - Soon after, Wendell was puking just outside Julio's; Amy sympathetically rubbed his back. As he voiced his regret in ordering the jello shots, Amy told him that it was OK, but she rolled her eyes.
He apologized, explaining why he got the shots, and asked her if this wasn't the worst first date ever, and then asked if they could just start over and try again. As Amy started to politely decline, they were interrupted by a Deathlok from some 25 years into the future of Reality-10511. When Deathlok asked if they were the parents of Todd Bryant, the super-powered vigilante known as Buzzsaw, Wendell noted that they didn't have children and that this was their first date; Amy added, "No way am I ever sleeping with this guy."
Deathlok then related how (in his timeline's past, though he didn't note this) in six months, they would be married at the Bryant family resort in Tahiti, French Polynesia, and that their son Todd, would be born 3 months later.
Amy was excited to hear Wendell's family owned a resort in Tahiti, which she loved and had always dreamed --
Noting their identies had been confirmed, Deathlok fired four shots from his handgun, and leaving Wendell and Amy to die in a pool of blood.

Based on Todd being born 9 months after their first date in
Reality-10511, it would seem that either Wendell made a better first
impression (perhaps not doing the shots; or maybe Amy did shots and got
wasted, too), or something happened to change her impression of him;
maybe it was the mention of his parent's resort in Tahiti. The world
may never know.
Altering the past typically diverges an
alternate reality rather than changing the present, but there are
certainly multiple sets of circumstances in which realities are indeed
altered by affecting their pasts. Obviously events of Reality-616
differed significantly from those of Reality-10511, and so 10511 is not
the future of -616, but perhaps some reality merging was arranged, or
something akin to the Doomlocks was used. Who knows? Most writers write
future reality stories as if that future is indeed the future of
-616/Prime Earth; maybe it doesn't hold up later, but, what's the
difference, it was fun anyway!
