History:
(My Love II#4/3 (fb) - BTS) - Living with her Aunt
Ellen, Barbara Chase often dated wealthy college boys. Barbara
regularly visited her hairdresser Raymond for hair appointments, but
mutual attraction blossomed between them. However, Barbara's long-time
friend Vickie was also secretly drawn to Raymond and so encouraged her
friend to forget her romantic notions due to his lower income and
social standing.
(My Love II#4/3) - Barbara went again to the beauty
shop, where she flirted with Raymond. He finally invited her on a date.
Afterward, Vickie tried to dampen her friend's excitement, but the
romantic evening date proved fulfilling. Returning to her aunt's place,
Barbara, a little embarrassed at being so romantically caught up, told
Ellen that he was just a friend. Barbara then followed Vickie's
recommendation to end the affair on the next date.
A few months passed during which Vickie
stopped contacting Barbara. The two met by chance in a car park, but
Vickie was evasive. Afterward, Barbara was shocked to discover that
Vickie had become engaged to Raymond. Later, Barbara watched
the wedding couple from the sidelines, then wandered off alone. She
resolved to have greater self-confidence and to follow her heart in the
future.

These romance stories often had the flavor of the time in which they were written, and nothing else to tie them into Marvel's sliding timescale. As such, it's likely that the stories took place at the time of publication rather than being part of the sliding timescale.
