Powers/Abilities: Chronosites could feed on objects and creatures displaced in time and space. If a sizable amount of their body was separated, Chronosites were capable of reforming their missing parts. Because of its amoeboid body, Chronosites were unaffected by most attacks and even a punch sufficiently strong enough to launch a Chronosite into the air did not cause any permanent damage.

Traits: Each Chronosite resembled a large, pink amoeboid with several tentacles and mouths covering its body. They have no brains, rather only basic neural structures.

History: (Avengers VI#7) - The Avengers battled a Chronosite that Spider-Man dubbed "Goo-thulu" and during the battle, Vision scanned the creature and determined that it did not have a brain. After realizing the Chronosite only responded to certain stimuli, Thor and Hercules hurled the Chronosite onto a nearby rooftop, where it landed and was squished. It quickly reformed itself but before it could attack, it was banished by Iron Man (Victor von Doom). Another Chronosite was later summoned by the Champions of Anamelech to assist in their battle against the Avengers but this Chronosite was also banished by Iron Man when Iron Man cast the Flames of Faltine through Wasp's Pym Particle projectors.

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Chronosites have no known connections to

"Goo-thulu"

"Goo-thulu" was the nickname given to the Chronosite who attacked New York City and was banished by Iron Man (Victor von Doom). "Goo-thulu" shrugged off most of the Avengers' attacks but was squished when Thor punched it onto a rooftop. Before it could reform itself, it was banished by Iron Man.

"Goo-thulu" had the typical traits of a Chronosite including reformation of its squished amoeboid form, the ability to feed on time-displaced beings and durability enough to resist energy weapons.
