History: (Dark Reign: Zodiac#1 (fb) ) - Daughter of the vampiric mutant Nekra and an unknown father (see comments), Death Reaper was born into a villainous lifestyle. She became lovers with the masked terrorist Zodiac, and joined his gang, setting up shop in a derelict Hydra airship.
(Dark Reign: Zodiac#1 (fb) ) - Zodiac and Death Reaper called on the Clown, recruiting him into their gang.
(Dark Reign: Zodiac#1) - Death Reaper took a bath and talked to Zodiac over the phone as he broke into the Baxter Building.
(Dark Reign: Zodiac#2) - Death Reaper and Zodiac had sex. She insisted that he put his mask on; as they reached their crescendo, Zodiac triggered the explosion of the hospital the Human Torch had been taken to. Later, Death Reaper addressed a meeting of the gang, explaining that they represented a new breed of villainy, and that they had fooled HAMMER into believing that Galactus was attacking Earth, giving them an opening to unleash Red Ronin on New York City.
(Dark Reign: Zodiac#3) - Death Reaper slept through the ensuing chaos, briefly waking up when Zodiac returned to the base.
(Age of Heroes#4/3) - With Osborn and HAMMER defeated by Earth's heroes, Zodiac plotted to strike at the new world order...but not before another session with Death Reaper, who was wearing a dominatrix-style Captain America costume.
(Heroic Age: Villains) - Steve Rogers researched a number of villains, including Death Reaper, for his files.
(Gambit V#14 (fb) ) - Death Reaper tired of being Zodiac's subordinate and struck out on her own.
(Gambit V#14 (fb) ) - In England, Death Reaper met Pete Wisdom and seduced him. While he slept, she stole the mystical Faerie Grimoire from him.
(Gambit V#14) - Death Reaper took the Grimoire to a shop in London, where she planned to acquire the ingredients she needed to cast the book's spells. Instead of the shopkeeper, however, she found Gambit (who had been recruited by Widsom to steal the book back) posing as his assistant. She recognized him immediately, but played along, allowing him to take her Tarot reading. When he tried to swap the Grimoire out with a fake, however, she revealed her true identity with a blast of magical force. She entangled him with Darkforce tendrils, kissed him, and then cut his chest, giving her enough power to use an Avalon Stone in the shop to open a portal to the faerie realm, where she planned to unleash an army of monsters upon the Earth. Gambit had charged two of her facial piercings with kinetic energy, forcing her to pull them out before they could blow off, which gave him time to escape. She completed her spell and opened the gate, but Gambit tackled her, sending them both through it. There, she was accosted by faeries, who chased her off, leaving the book behind.
Comments: Created by Joe Casey and Nathan Fox.
Death Reaper's father is as-yet unknown, to both the readers and herself - when Zodiac asks her if it's the Grim Reaper, she doesn't rule it out, and thinks it would be great. However, unless Death Reaper is much younger than she looks, I don't think that lines up with the sliding timeline. Chronologically, the Mandrill seems like a more likely candidate, in which case she's lucky she got her mother's looks.
Death Reaper is liberally festooned with Yakuza-style tattoos, but they're presumably just for show, and not an indication that she's actually a member of the Yakuza.
