History: (X-Men Millennial Visions - "The Big
X-Change" (fb) - BTS) - In 2004, insane pop star Buzz sought to reduce
overpopulation by rendering the human race infertile. Teaming with
Bubbles, an evil chimpanzee who electronically controlled "Jacko," Buzz
headquartered himself out of an underwater base outside of Chipping
Sodbury and began construction of his Blank-o-Ray emitter. Terrified,
the world turned to the X-Men for protection and the X-Men managed to
defeat Buzz, but not before the team was exposed to Blank-o-Rays, which
interacted strangely with the team's mutant genes, transforming the
members of the team into the opposite gender rather than rendering them
infertile. Immediately searching for Buzz to return them to normal, the
X-Men found only Bubbles, whom they let escape, not realizing that
Bubbles was the true mastermind. Ultimately failing to locate Buzz, the
X-Men remained in their switched gendered forms, some handling the
change well, others struggling.
(X-Men Millennial Visions - "The Big X-Change") -
When Buzz warned of his eventual return, the X-Men waited to defend
against his proposed attack, unaware that Buzz had actually fled to the
Andes Mountains to learn the secret behind the "Rhythm of the Condor
Wings" while Bubbles the chimp managed a boy band.
