History: (Marvel Knights Millennial Visions 2001 - "Children, Children" (fb) - BTS) - In the year 2017, the still-active KGB, working for the Russian Socialist regime, envisioned a future populated by genetically perfect super-beings. To accomplish their goal, KGB scientists opted to genetically engineer "the Strongest Spider," an invincible version of their Black Widows. Test subject Galina Tsarfin was then experimented on by the scientists, who used DNA harvested from the original Black Widow and a radioactive spider created from research stolen from the original Spider-Man. Despite emerging nearly genetically perfect, this new Black Widow failed to meet the scientists' expectations, prompting the scientists to impregnate the Black Widow with the DNA of Spider-Man in hopes that Black Widow's offspring would meet their goals. Much to the scientists' surprise, the experiment caused Tsarfin to birth 123 genetically advanced children, much like a true spider. The experiment also caused Black Widow to act like her namesake and slaughter the KGB scientists responsible for experimenting on her.
(Marvel Knights Millennial Visions 2001 - "Children, Children") - Surrounding by her new children, the new Black Widow remained with the KGB, who decided to wait and see if any of Tsarfin's children would manifest superhuman abilities, figuring that if they did not, they would have to return to the proverbial drawing board.
Comments: Created by Amanda Conner.
Black Widow's height and weight were impossible to
approximate, as she was not seen next to any other characters whose
physical stats had previously been officially determined. Also, the art
showed no color to her eyes.
