History: (Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon
episode, "Back in Black" - BTS) - When his friends asked about where
the mysterious new black-suited Spider-Man came from, the true
Spider-Man imagined that the black-costumed Spider-Man had come to
Earth from the cosmic reaches of the universe with his faithful space
blob, Doop. As Spider-Man's daydream continued, Doop was seen flying
alongside the black-costumed Spider-Man as they fought for truth and
justice.
Comments: Created by Man of Action and Film Roman (see Appearances list for list of artists involved).
I listed Doop's appearance as BTS since technically,
the true Doop of Earth-12041 has not yet appeared. He was seen only in
Spider-Man's imagination but there is nothing to say that Doop had not
appeared elsewhere on Earth-12041, which is likely where Spider-Man got
the inspiration to imagine Doop as the black-costumed Spider-Man's
sidekick. His lack of a true, full appearance also makes his
information difficult to confirm for sure, as any information could
just relate to Spider-Man's imaginary version of Doop and not the true
Earth-12041 Doop. If Doop ever appears on Earth-12041 fully, I will
update the profile accordingly.
