History:
(Avengers: United They Stand#3 (fb)) - Iron Man was a member of the
Avengers during the time that Wonder Man joined the team as a secret
agent working for Baron Zemo. During a battle against Zemo, Wonder Man
revealed his ruse and Iron Man prepared for a fight, only to witness
Wonder Man turn against Zemo and aid the Avengers against Zemo, his
Masters of Evil and the armies of A.I.M. After Zemo and his Masters of
Evil fled, Wonder Man fell to the ground and Iron Man deduced that
Wonder Man's ionic mutagens were reaching a toxic level. Giant-Man
quickly ordered the other Avengers to get Wonder Man back to his lab
and Iron Man helped Captain America carry Wonder Man onto the Avengers'
transport. Back at the Avengers Mansion lab, Iron Man and Giant-Man
worked together and created a cure for Wonder Man's ionic mutagens,
saving Wonder Man's life and allowing him to become the last of the
founding Avengers to join the team. Some time later, the founding
Avengers went their separate ways and Iron Man left the team, replaced
by new recruits Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.
Comments: Created by Ty Templeton, Derec Aucoin and Walden Wong.
Iron Man's eyes were never shown so his eye color was
impossible to determine, although it seems likely that they would be
blue like his Earth-616 counterpart. It also seems likely that his
height and weight would match his 616 counterpart.
