History:
(Marvel Universe Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes I#7 (fb) - BTS) -
Hank Pym created a bridge between Earth's Macroverse and the Microns'
home in the Microverse.
(Marvel Universe Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
I#7 (fb)) - In recent times, the Microns' home was conquered by the
Psycho-Man, who enslaved most of the Microns and began conquering other
worlds within the Microverse. When Pym's shrinking experiments began
raining down Macroverse items onto Psycho-Man's kingdom, Psycho-Man
sent an invasion force to the Macroverse to destroy Pym while the
remaining Microns followed.
(Marvel Universe Avengers: Earth's
Mightiest Heroes I#7) - When the Avengers' Wasp, Iron Man and Captain
America were trapped by the Evil Microns, they were rescued by the
arrival of the true, heroic Microns, led by Arcturus Rann. Introducing
themselves, the Microns explained their origins and Psycho-Man's
conquering of the Microverse. After assuring the Avengers that
Psycho-Man and his Evil Microns were their responsibility, the Microns
promised to help the Avengers push Psycho-Man back into the Microverse.
Teaming with the Avengers, the Microns attacked the Evil Microns while
Wasp retrieved Pym Particles to shrink Captain America and Iron Man out
of their bindings. The Evil Microns soon began to overwhelm the Microns
and the Avengers until Wasp grow to normal size, appearing gigantic to
the Microns, and stepped on the Evil Microns to defeat them. With a
victory won, the Microns prepared to return to the Microverse despite
Wasp trying to accompany them to help against Psycho-Man. Arcturus Rann
declined the Avengers' help and the Micron Bug suggested if they wanted
to help, they could stop shrinking Macroverse items into the
Microverse. The Microns then shrunk out of the Macroverse back down
into the Microverse.
Comments: Created by Chris Yost, Christopher Jones and Victor Olazaba.
The Microns were never seen on the actual Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon
series but they appeared in one of the original comic book stories
(prior to the comic series changing over to adaptations of the
episodes).
While not specifically explained, one could assume
that the Evil Microns were Microns that had been enslaved by
Psycho-Man. We don't see the Psycho-Man's emotion-manipulating device
at all in the story but it seems plausible that the Psycho-Man could
have used the device to transform normal Microns into Evil Microns.
Profile by Proto-Man.

Bug
Bug was an insectoid member of the Microns
who often spoke with a speed impediment involving the periodic
interruption of his words with the sound "chk!" He joined the other
Microns in traveling to the Macroverse, where he remarked on how he
thought humans would be bigger. During the fight against Psycho-Man's
Evil Microns, Bug fought while commenting on how big everything was in
the Macroverse, suggesting the Microns let Psycho-Man have the
Macroverse. Once the Evil Microns were defeated, Bug said his goodbyes
to their Avenger allies by suggesting that if they wanted to help
against Psycho-Man, they could stop shrinking Macroverse items into the
Microverse. Bug then accompanied the Microns back to the Microverse.
Bug appeared to be more agile than a human and carried a battle staff.

Evil Microns
The Evil Microns were Microverse natives
that were enslaved into servitude by the Psycho-Man. They remained
ever-loyal to their dictator and were the chief invasion force into the
Macroverse when the Psycho-Man ordered the destruction of Hank Pym.
Quickly trapping the nearby Avengers, the Evil Microns were soon driven
back by the arriving Microns. Renewing their attack, the Evil Microns
soon overwhelmed the Microns until the Avengers' Wasp grew to her
normal size, appearing gigantic to the Evil Microns, which she defeated
by stepping on.
The Evil Microns all carried varying types of weaponry, including spools of hard atomic roping to bind larger creatures.

Flare
Flare was a female member of the Microns
who appeared close to her teammate Quark. She accompanied the Microns
in traveling to the Macroverse to stop Psycho-Man's Evil Microns and
during the subsequent, she was hit by one of the Evil Microns' blasters
before the Evil Microns were defeated. She then joined the Microns in
returning to the Microverse.
Flare had butterfly-like wings that enabled flight, a sonic scream and
she could project what appeared to be some sort of "fairy dust" that
harmed the Evil Microns.
--Marvel Universe Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes I#7
Marionette
Marionette was a warrior-like member of the
Microns who traveled to the Macroverse to halt the Evil Microns'
invasion. She battled the Evil Microns and was nearly overwhelmed until
Wasp defeated the Evil Microns, after which Marionette accompanied the
Microns back into the Microverse.
Marionette utilized a sword in battle.

Psycho-Man
Psycho-Man was a Microverse conquerer who
took over Inner Space, enslaving the Microns there before moving
outward to conquer other territories within the Microverse. When Hank
Pym's shrinking experiments began depositing Macroverse items into
Psycho-Man's territory, he became aware of the Macroverse and ordered
his Evil Microns armies to invade the Macroverse and destroy Pym. When
the Evil Microns were defeated by the combined might of the Avengers
and the heroic Microns, the Microns returned to the Microverse to
continue their war against Psycho-Man
Psycho-Man was an exceptional conqueror and commanded legions of Evil Microns.

Quark
Quark was a rock-like member of the Microns
who seemed especially fond of his teammate Flare. He accompanied the
Microns to the Macroverse, where he aided against the Evil Microns
until Flare was hit by a stray energy blast. Once the Evil Microns were
defeated, Quark returned to the Microverse with his teammates.
Quark appeared to be able to extend his rock-like body, which also granted him superhuman strength and durability.

Arcturus Rann
Arcturus Rann was the leader of the
Microns. When Psycho-Man's Evil Microns invaded the Macroverse, Rann
led his Microns team into the Macroverse to stop them, feeling
responsible for Psycho-Man's actions since he was from their realm.
During his time in the Macroverse, Rann teamed with the Avengers to
defeat the Evil Microns before choosing to return to the Microverse
without the Avengers' help.
Rann was a skilled leader and carried a blaster in battle.
