History: (X-Men Millennial Visions - "D.N.A.X" (fb) - BTS) - Following years of genetic splicing, a specialized type of mutant was created based on coils culled from specific organs and bodily tissue, exhibiting powers taken from their genetic foundation.
(X-Men Millennial Visions - "D.N.A.X") - A new X-Men
team was founded with organ-based mutants, including Sartorius, whose
genetic material was taken from muscle fiber which allowed him to boost
his strength when angry despite having no protective skin, Gullet, who
could eat and digest nearly anything, Gristle, whose boneless form was
taken from the genetic material of cartilage, Neuragella, whose brain
cell genetic template granted her the ability to cause headaches and
vertigo in others while causing her to subsequently feel the pain she
causes others, and Appendix, who, like his namesake organ, exhibited no
apparent function but was skilled at striking enemies when they least
expected it. Together, these new X-Men fought for mutant rights in a
society that feared them.
