History: (Hawkeye
III#7 (fb) – BTS) – Eden the tattooed lady joined
Tiboldt's Traveling Circus, working for the Ringmaster alongside
Hawkeye the
Marksman and Bruto the Strong Man. Eden had a romantic relationship
with
Hawkeye but she was secretly seeing Ringmaster on the side. After
Ringmaster
sought a working relationship with a local artist, he instead killed
the man
and stole from him and Eden was his accomplice.
(Hawkeye III#7 (fb)) – When Hawkeye learned about
the death
of the artist, he went to find Eden and found her in Ringmaster's tent.
Eden
rushed after him, assuring Hawkeye she had nothing to do with the
murder and
that she was his woman only.
(Hawkeye III#8 (fb)) – As Mechano (the Hulk in
disguise) went
on performing by juggling elephants, Ringmaster announced that Hawkeye,
Bruto
and Eden, in her "Garden of Eden" act, were up next. Hawkeye broke his
bow so
he went to Eden's storage chest for a soldering iron and he found
stolen art.
Hawkeye missed his performance and he later confronted Eden, who denied
involvement.
(Hawkeye III#8 (fb) – BTS) – Hawkeye turned Eden
in and she
was convicted, serving ten years.
(Hawkeye III#8) – After her release from a
penitentiary in
Michigan, Eden was released. Although she refused to forgive Hawkeye,
she took
money from him and accepted a ride.

The Incredible Hulk disguised himself as Mechano the clown and performed for a carnival by juggling elephants in Avengers I#1. In Hawkeye III#8, we see him performing in the background before Hawkeye discovers the evidence in Eden's trunk.
