History:
(Spidey Super Stories#13/1 (fb)) - As a boy, Sam Wilson liked to train birds. As an adult, he became a social worker. At a market he acquired a special falcon named Redwing and he taught it many tricks. He then became the crime-fighter Falcon, naming himself after his special pet.
(Spidey Super Stories#13/5 (fb) - BTS) - Chasing
animal-themed heroes, Kraven the hunter captured the Falcon and the Cat
(Greer Nelson), locking them in cages in a deserted part of Central
Park, but Redwing flew free to seek help.
(Spidey Super Stories#13/5) - Redwing found
Spider-Man and alerted him of trouble. Recognizing the bird, Spider-Man
followed it and found Kraven's lair. While Spider-Man fought Kraven,
Falcon had Redwing take a burning stick from a campfire to burn through
his restraints. Falcon then freed the Cat before helping Spider-Man
capture Kraven in a net made of webbing.
(Spidey Super Stories#17/2) - Falcon vainly tried to
pull the giant dog Lockjaw
away from the oversized bicentennial birthday cake at Electric Company
studios.
