History:
(Hawkeye IV#2 (fb) – BTS) – Fifi formed a circus performance
with a knife-thrower, a man once trained by the Swordsman (Jacques
Duquesne).
Fifi would be strapped to a wheel, wearing a mime-like costume, while
knives
were thrown at her. They joined the most recent version of the Circus
of Crime,
called the Cirque du Nuit and it was run by long-term criminal, the
Ringmaster.
(Hawkeye IV#2 (fb)) – Ringmaster led the Cirque in performing for a group of criminals including Owl, Hammerhead, Tombstone, Madame Masque and Kingpin. Ringmaster hypnotized the crowd so they could rob them but the two Hawkeyes (both Clint Barton and Kate Bishop) attacked. Kate savagely took down Fifi with a kick and a fire extingquisher then dressed as Fifi. The Cirque was soon defeated.
SECRET WARS III HAPPENED
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#5 (fb) - BTS) - Fifi taught herself archery after her humiliating encounter with Kate Bishop, which she took very personally. She planned to become better than Bishop at it.
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#3 (fb) - BTS) - The niece of the Ringmaster, Pascale Tiboldt, recruited Fifi for a new Circus of Crime, and they built equipment that would manipulate the minds of those they selected. As their first experiment the villains ran the Resort Chapiteau in the Hamptons and began manipulating the rich there to turn them into mind-controlled thieves by .
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#3) - Fifi helped searching for Kate and Susan Bishop after they escaped the security at the Resort Chapiteau in a cloud of smoke.
Pascale Tiboldt watched Fifi on a security camera opening a bag.
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#3 - BTS) - Pascale sent Fifi after Kate.
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#3) - Fifi found Kate snooping around in the basement of Resort Chapiteau and attacked her viciously with a dagger. After taking a few hits Fifi wrestled Kate to the ground. Pascale Tiboldt then arrived with Kate's mind-controlled sister.
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#4) - When Hawkeye was defeated, Pascale ordered Fifi to amp up the equipment and manipulate the minds of the guests into burning the resort down to end the experiment. Fifi wasn't sure the technology was stable enough but reluctantly followed Pascale's orders. She said her final goodbye to Kate and fled while the resort burned.
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#5 - BTS) - Fifi joined the rest of the Chapiteau at estate of Susan Bishop to search for the Cosmic Cube fragment that was stored there.
(Hawkeye: Kate Bishop#5) - Fifi surpris attacked Kate in her former home and threatened to erase her from existence with the Cosmic Cube fragment. Fifi showed off her impressive archery skills against Kate and had her stuck to the ground, but was then knocked out by Kate's friend Stinger, who turned giant-sized, after Kate shot an arrow above Fifi's head as a distraction.
Fifi and the other members were left behind by Pascale Tiboldt, who fled after she was defeated by the combined efforts of Kate, Susan, America, Stinger and Lucky. Fifi and the other members of the Chapiteau were trussed up at the Bishop Estate.
