History:
(Marvel Mangaverse: Avengers Assemble (fb) - BTS) - Hawkeye became part of the Avengers and saved the world on several separate occasions. One time, Hawkeye and his teammates barely survived a fight against the mutant despot Apocalypse.
(Marvel Mangaverse: Avengers Assemble) - While meeting with Tony Stark, the secret benefactor of the Avengers, the group discussed the sighting of the monstrous Hulk (originating from the Ethereal Realm). Afraid they would be powerless to stop the monster, Stark revealed he had come up with a way to combat threats like the Hulk: he had secretly created four "Iron Avengers", gigantic assault robots the Avengers could pilot in battle. Stark had stored them in a hidden facility located at Billian Peak in the Chinese province Guilin. The Avengers went there to claim the robots, only to arrive and find the facility had already been unlocked (Apocalypse's Phalanx spies had monitored Stark's revelation, causing the villain to send his Horsemen to claim the robots). Hawkeye and the Avengers rushed in to stop the Horsemen (Mr. Sinister, Archangel, Juggernaut and the White Queen). White Queen had already boarded one of the four Iron Avenger armors when the heroes showed up. Eager to kill the Avengers, the Horsemen forgot to work as a team and attacked individually. Hawkeye chose to attack the Juggernaut and was overconfident he could take out the "unstoppable" villain with a single arrow. His arrogance came to bite him in the behind as Juggernaut with nothing more than a scratch sneaked up on Hawkeye and held him in its iron grip. Hawkeye was rescued by the Vision who had taken control of one of the "Iron Avengers" and took down Juggernaut. Defeated, the Horsemen quickly fled, much to Apocalypse's annoyance who decided to take matters into his own hands. When Apocalypse arrived at the Avengers storage facility he was somewhat disappointed when he saw the "little" Iron Avengers machines, and thought he had overestimated the Avengers. The Avengers fired all their machines at the giant Apocalypse but without any effect. They then decided to unleash their secret power and transformed the four separate machines into one giant mech fighter called the Ultimate Iron Man. The two towering giants went head to head, but Apocalypse's most powerful attack, his apocalypse beam seemed no match for the Ultimate Iron Man's avenging justice attack. The villain was defeated. The Avengers left him lying under the rubble of their storage facility to deal with the Hulk who was terrorizing New York.
(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight) - While on their way to New York the Avengers where surprised to find Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. were unable to deal with the Hulk monster. They decided teamwork would be key in defeating the giant. Upon arriving at the giant's location, the Avengers transformed their Iron Avengers machines into Ultimate Iron Man. But when they attacked Hulk with their most powerful Iron Avenger Mega-Power Punch, the fist literally shattered upon impact. The failed attack caused their power levels to drop fifty percent, allowing Hulk the chance to destroy their mechsuits with a single attack. Hawkeye and the others only escaped the resulting explosion thanks to Scarlet Witch's teleportation spell. Though they were safe, the group could do nothing but watch as the Hulk continued his rampage through New York. A little while later, Thor arrived to deal with the Hulk and his master Dormammu. He called upon the might of Hawkeye and all other heroes to gather enough strength to defeat the enemy.
(Marvel Mangaverse#2 - BTS) - Hawkeye and the Avengers were dispatched to deal with the Galactus spores that landed in Beijing. Here, the Avengers merged their mechsuits to form Ultimate Iron Man in order to fight several monsters.
(Marvel Mangaverse#3) - Hawkeye and the Avengers were seen fighting another of Galactus' spores although their mechsuits seemed useless against it. Galactus would later be destroyed by Captain Marvel (Marvin Ellwood).
(Marvel Mangaverse#4) - When Doom (T'Channa) attacked the United Nations and President Steve Rogers (angered the people of Latveria didn't receive any help after Galactus' devastating attack) the Avengers were alerted. Already deciding to arrive as Ultimate Iron Man, the team decided to attack full on with their Iron Avenger Mecha-Power Punch. However, Doom managed to drain the robot's mainframe with one simple attack. With the mechsuit crashing on Liberty Island, Doom ripped open the suit to get to the Avengers who were still trapped inside. Doom then killed Hawkeye with an electricity blast. Doom consequently then killed Vision and Captain America.
(Marvel Mangaverse#5) - Hawkeye's corpse was seen. His teammate the Scarlet Witch would join Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Tigra in an effort to stop Doom. In the end, the heroes avenged their fallen comrades by killing Doom with her own sword.
