History: (Daredevil I#81 (fb) – BTS) – Karen
Page began working with
agent Phil Hichok and they spent months working on building her career.
(Daredevil I#77) – Phil went with Karen to New
York City,
where she had a role in a new movie.
(Daredevil I#78) – Karen's movie, Tender Affair, in which
she starred with Smith, was released. Later, Karen placed a phone call
to her
old boyfriend, Matt Murdock, and was distressed when another girl
answered the
phone. Phil tried comforting her, reminding her she had an appearance
on Dick's
television show that night.
(Daredevil I#80) – Phil got Karen an interview
with casting
agent Mr. Blain for the part of Cynthia Wiles but Blain could tell
Karen
wasn't listening during the interview, distracted by an emotional
problem. Phil
went to check on Karen just before her appearance on Dick's talk show
but he
found her crying after she saw news footage of Daredevil.
(Daredevil I#81) – Watching the news, Karen
believed
Daredevil dead and she cried out, fainting. Dick and Phil rushed in to
check
on her and Phil carried her out, realizing his own feelings for Karen.
When
she woke up, she pulled Phil in for an embrace, saying she didn't want
to think
anymore and that she needed him.
(Daredevil I#82) – Phil admitted he loved Karen.
Though she
didn't know how she felt, she asked Phil to hold her and kiss her.
(Daredevil I#83) – Phil held Karen's hand happily
but he
could tell she was distracted, having thoughts about her old boyfriend,
Matt
Murdock.
(Daredevil I#85 (fb) – BTS) – Phil proposed to
Karen and
she considered her answer.
(Daredevil I#85) – In the car to the airport, Phil
told
Karen he had been her agent, psychiatrist and crying shoulder, so he
may as
well be her husband too. He kissed her but at the airport, she saw Matt
Murdock and called to him. Matt rushed to her and they kissed.
Comments: Created by Gerry Conway, Gene Colan and Tom Palmer.
In Daredevil I#86, Phil Hichok was called Phil
Kingston. I'm
going to guess perhaps that was his middle name? Phil Kingston Hichok
has a
nice ring to it.

(Daredevil I#86) – Socialite Raymond Carter threw a public engagement party for the newly engaged attorney Matt Murdock and actress Karen Page. Anchorman Robert covered footage of Michi Taylor at the party, where she questioned Matt, Karen, the newly resigned district attorney "Foggy" Nelson and the Black Widow, who planned to move to San Francisco after her recent media trial. Robert also reported on the recent release of criminal Karl Stragg, who had less than a month to live. Soon, the Ox/Stragg attacked the party and Daredevil battled the villain, damaging the property.
It was unclear which character in the image here is Raymond Carter but he is definitely one of the people seen at the party. - Proto-Man
