History: (Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers Supreme I#3 (fb) - BTS) - The wise and strong mother of Kushala gave birth to her daughter at night. Claiming Kushala made no sound at birth, Kushala's mother told Kushala that Kushala's eyes were clear and ready from the moment she was born. Kushala felt as if her mother had no idea of what Kushala was truly ready for.

(Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers Supreme I#3 (fb)) - During a scuffle with gun-wielding American soldiers, Kushala's mother was killed and Kushala held her mother's lifeless body, calling out to her creator for help.

Kushala's mother was never identified by name and it was not stated if Kushala's father was actually married to Kushala's mother or not so I chose not to list him in Kushala's mother's relatives. Since she was only seen in shadow, Kushala's mother's hair and eye color were impossible to determine.

The flag carried by the American soldiers who killed Kushala's mother seemed to place the mother's death somewhere between 1877-1890.
