History:
(Spidey Super Stories#57/5 (fb) - BTS) - Leap Frog
used his frog-themed suit to get into or escape difficult areas so that
he could steal valuable art for resale. He targeted an art exhibition organized by J. Jonah
Jameson.
(Spidey Super Stories#57/5) - Accompanied by Peter Parker, Jameson discovered the
exhibition art had been stolen. Changing secretly into Spider-Man,
Parker joined the Avenger called Beast in tracking down the thief and
the two discovered his lair and stolen art stash, unaware they were
being watched by the villain from the rafters. Leap Frog attacked them,
then tried to flee, but further fighting ensued until Spider-Man and
Beast successfully stopped him. Spider-Man took photos and left to
develop them for the Daily Bugle newspaper. Beast returned the art and
took Leap Frog to the police. Parker later showed Jameson the photo of
Leap Frog being apprehended.
