History: (Dark Reign:
Lethal Legion I#3 (fb) – BTS) – After Norman
Osborn gained power, becoming the head of H.A.M.M.E.R. and leader of
his own hand-picked
Avengers as Iron Patriot, he realized he needed a team of villains to
fight
against and take down. He approached Grim Reaper, convincing the
villain to
form a new Lethal Legion.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#1 (fb)) – Grim Reaper
assembled
a new Lethal Legion including Nekra, Grey Gargoyle, Tiger Shark, Mr.
Hyde and
Absorbing Man in order to get "revenge" on Norman Osborn. They all
joined for
their own reasons. They enjoyed a crime spree but then Grim Reaper
added
Wonder Man as their final member.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#2 (fb)) – Furious at
Osborn's
new power and recently humiliated in the public for his views, Wonder
Man
proposed the team tone down the violence and focus on kidnapping
Osborn. The
villains were upset and Absorbing Man quit the team but later rejoined.
The
heroes attacked Avengers Tower and Osborn's Avengers fought back.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#1 (fb)) – The Lethal
Legion
went to war with Osborn's Avengers.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#2 (fb)) – The Lethal
Legion
attacked Avengers Tower, with Absorbing Man defeating Sentry so they
could
swiftly kidnap Norman Osborn.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#3 (fb)) – Hyde fought
with his
teammates and assaulted the kidnapped Osborn, displeasing Grim Reaper,
who was
also angry over Hyde and Nekra's former relationship. Grey Gargoyle
snuck away
to try to join with Osborn's Avengers but he was apprehended by
H.A.M.M.E.R.
instead. As the others stood by, Wonder Man and Grim Reaper beat Hyde
and
Osborn escaped just as his Avengers arrived to attack. The Lethal
Legion were
soon apprehended and placed in the Raft.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#1) – Attorney
Livingston
arrived on the Raft to question the former members of the Lethal
Legion. He saw
Grim Reaper get stabbed by another prisoner in the name of Norman
Osborn. Livingston
then questioned Tiger Shark.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#2) – Livingston
questioned
Wonder Man and Absorbing Man. Guard Mr. Tillis delivered the news that
Grim
Reaper died.
(Dark Reign: Lethal Legion I#3) – Livingston interviewed Mr. Hyde then Nekra and Grey Gargoyle, who claimed he knew the true villainous identities of Osborn's Avengers. Osborn arrived, revealing Livingston as one of his own agents, but he killed Livingston with Grim Reaper's scythe, reviving Reaper.
