History:
(Civil War: Choosing Sides/5) - When Howard the Duck decided to
register with the government per the Superhuman Registration Act, he
found himself and girlfriend Beverly Switzler mistakenly waiting in
line at the Cleveland Department of Motor Vehicles, where they asked
the Mighty Bull, who was waiting in line ahead of him alongside many
other wannabe superheroes, if he had arrived at the end of the line.
Howard was told by the Bull that he had a "rockin' duck suit" and
Howard responded, remarking that the Mighty Bull's costume looked like
it had taken a whole 10 minutes. Mighty Bull replied that it didn't
take half that time and announced himself the enemy of the color red,
prompting Howard to remark that he would've went with hamburger buns or
matadors as an enemy of choice before distracting the Mighty Bull by
claiming to see something shiny off in the distance. The confused
Mighty Bull then left the line while Howard and Beverly moved forward.
As they continued to move forward, Beverly noticed that the Mighty Bull
had seen a red lamp and had begun biting it and claiming that it fought
back with "blue fire." Commenting that the Bull's actions couldn't be
good for him, Beverly continued moving forward in line with Howard.
Eventually making it to a clerk, Howard learned that he was actually in
line at the DMV and explained his confusion, as the Mighty Bull had
horns and a tail, which made him think he was in line to register with
the Superhuman Registration Act. The clerk commented that it was
Cleveland. After being thrown out of the office and officially told he
did not exist, Howard returned his parking ticketed cab as the Mighty
Bull, having been electrically shocked by the red lamp, stumbled back
towards the Registration offices. When Howard asked if the Mighty Bull
was looking for the Superhuman Registration Act offices, a stunned
Mighty Bull replied that he crushed the color red, prompting Howard to
suggest the Mighty Bull get in line 4 for "Other." As Howard the Duck
drove off, the Mighty Bull gave a sly grin.
