Powers/Abilities/Functions: Molynite was a
naturally-occurring element found only in the European nation of
Rotruvia. Molynite could be used as a power source but could be
destroyed using a specific alchemical radiation.
History:
(All-New, All-Different Avengers I#15 (fb) - BTS) - The
naturally-occurring Molynite was the principal export of the country of
Rotruvia, neighbor of Latveria.
(All-New, All-Different Avengers I#15) - When Doctor Doom attempted a forced annex of Rotruvia, Rotruvian soldiers fought back using weapons powered by Molynite but proved unable to get to Doom's ultimate weapon. The Avengers soon got involved and aided Rotruvia against Doctor Doom, only to find that when his weapon was destroyed, Doom had arranged for the release of an alchemical radiation that destroyed every bit of Molynite within Rotruvia. Their weapons dissolved and their economy, dependent on Molynite exports, destroyed, Rotruvia was forced to surrender to Latveria.
