History: (Daredevil
I#78 (fb) – BTS) – A scientist was kicked out of
Cambridge for rushing his experiments. He called himself the Professor.
(Daredevil I#78 (fb) – BTS) – Mr. Kline hired the
Professor
to experiment on others, seeking to give them powers as new operatives.
The
Professor then hired three thugs, Bull, Freak-Face and Itch, to kidnap
subjects for him.
(Daredevil I#78) – Bull, Itch and Freak-Face
sought to
kidnap newlyweds George and Dia Alec. A fight broke out then Daredevil
attacked, resulting in the villains fleeing. At a deadline, Professor
instead
experimented on Bull, injecting him with a serum, but it all went wrong
and
Bull was turned into the Man-Bull, a man/bull hybrid with super
strength and a
cow-like form. Freak-Face and Itch went back out to look for the Alecs,
wanting
revenge, and they battled Daredevil. Freak-Face injected DD with a
knockout
drug then Man-Bull attacked. Itch and Freakface found the Alecs.
(Daredevil I#79) – The Professor was shocked by
Man-Bull's
transformation and asked the villain to back down but Man-Bull angrily
pushed
the Professor aside and attacked Daredevil. Back at his lab, the
Professor
reported to Mr. Kline then he saw the Alec couple brought in. The
Professor called
in to Mr. Kline and prepared to experiment on the Alecs but Daredevil
attacked. Daredevil soon defeated the Man-Bull. The Professor, Itch,
and
Freak-Face presumably either ran away or were arrested in the
aftermath.
(Daredevil I#96 (fb) – BTS) – The Professor
concocted a
serum that would mutate men into monstrous forms as well as an
antidote. He
planned to poison San Francisco's water supply then require a ransom
for the
cure.
(Daredevil I#95 – BTS) – After showing Bull a
paper that
talked about Daredevil (one that also featured a column by Sergius
O’Shaughnessy), Itch used a serum made by the Professor to turn the
incarcerated Bull back into Man-Bull, who fought his way past the
guards
including Cunningham.
(Daredevil I#96) – Man-Bull and Itch returned to
the
Professor's base in Sausalito, retrieving the Professor's new serum as
the cops
investigated nearby. The Professor's hair was now white. Man-Bull and
Itch
poisoned the city's water then Man-Bull turned on Itch, pummeling him
aside.
Man-Bull returned to the Professor, determined to kill him and destroy
the
antidote so that no one could be cured but Daredevil stopped Man-Bull.
(The Cat I#4 (fb)) – Man-Bull returned to the
Professor, knocking him unconscious before stealing a full case of the
serum
that would transform him into Man-Bull.

villains
running for it. The Professor ended up experimenting on Bull, turning
