History:

(X-Men Unlimited II#3 - BTS) - After manifesting his powers, Greg enrolled at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. There, he was enrolled in flight classes alongside Icarus (Jay Guthrie).

(X-Men Unlimited II#3) - Skylark was on his way to hang out with Becky, Nancy and Julie from class. Skylark asked his classmate Icarus to join them. However, Icarus really wasn't interested in socializing because he wanted to leave Xavier's. Greg then went on to meet the girls in front of the Phoenix memorial.
