History: (X-Force I#76 (fb) - BTS) - The Malaysian mercenary known professionally as Snakeskin earned his nickname due to his unfortunate skin condition. Despite his name, Snakeskin came highly recommended from the Vancouver Tongs. Due to this recommendation, Snakeskin ended up being drawn into a martial arts tournament aboard an oil tanker in the Gulf of Mexico designed to weed out candidates for European crimelord Etienne Rousseau's personal guard, where he was pitted against former X-Force member Domino as her eighth combatant that day.

(X-Force I#76) -  During his battle against Domino, Snakeskin managed to wrap one of his chains around Domino's arm, which he used to pull Domino towards him. Going with the momentum, Domino jumped in and kicked Snakeskin in the face before using Snakeskin's own chains to choke him. Snakeskin instinctively propelled himself backwards, knocking Domino into the hull of the oil tanker and cracking one of her ribs. Unfortunately for Snakeskin, this attack was not enough and Domino ended up choking Snakeskin into unconsciousness. As he lay on the ground, Domino reported him down and requested a medic for the unconscious Snakeskin. Medics soon arrived to aid Snakeskin as Domino rested against the wall. When Domino was later forced to battle her former teammate Shatterstar, she thought about how Shatterstar relied too much on his weapons, much like Snakeskin did.

Comments: Created by John Francis Moore and Mike S. Miller.

It was never revealed why Snakeskin had reptilian-looking skin. It was mentioned as a skin condition but whether this skin condition was due to a mutant gene remains to be seen. For the sake of this profile, I am considering him merely to be a human with an unfortunate skin condition until we know otherwise.

Due to his costume's cowl, Snakeskin's hair color was impossible to determine. Also, since his eyes were drawn like a reptile's, any color to them was impossible to determine due to the art.
