History:
(My Love II#1/1 (fb) - BTS) - Linda Starr was reliant
on her physical beauty to gain the affections of various men.
(My Love II#1/1) - Attending a holiday singles
resort, the self-confident Starr was the center of attention, instantly
gaining the attention of fellow flirty guest Doug Lewis. While
preparing for
her first date with Lewis, she mocked two single women nearby who were
not as conventionally beautiful as her. Starr and Lewis spent almost a
whole week enjoying each other's company. While charmed by her looks,
he didn't like her making fun of other female guests. She was
quickly falling in love with him, but at a sunset date, Lewis told her
he didn't want anything
serious with her and wouldn't spend more time with her. Heartbroken,
she decided to leave the resort. While
waiting for the taxi, she saw Lewis with a woman she had earlier
mocked, but no words were said.

comics.org lists the writer to likely be Stan Lee.
These romance stories often had the flavor of the time in which they were written, and nothing else to tie them into Marvel's sliding timescale. As such, it's likely that the stories took place at the time of publication rather than being part of the sliding timescale.
