- One of the criminals outfitted with abandoned super villain identities
by the Hobgoblin, the Steeplejack guarded the back door of the
Hobgoblin's bar with the Ringer. He chuckled as Spider-Woman, looking
for revenge against the Hobgoblin for seemingly killing her friend the
Porcupine, walked up to the door...only for her to punch out the Ringer,
slam Steeplejack's hard-hat down on his head, kick him in the face, and
toss his unconscious body through the window onto a pool table.
Comments: Created by Dennis Hopeless and Veronica
Fish.
Unlike his unfortunate predecessor, who wore Maxwell Plumm's costume, this Steeplejack models himself after the original, Jake Mallard.
