Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Time Tether was a device that could be anchored to a specific time period and reality using a quantum string that existed in all time periods at once. Energies could be funneled through the Time Tether and emerge in the time period and reality that the Time Tether was anchored to.

History: (Avengers VI#5) - After Captain America opted to surgically strike at time conqueror Kang's supplies and resources throughout time, Vision worked with his alternate future counterpart and was given a Time Tether. Meeting with the Avengers, Vision revealed the Time Tether and his future counterpart, who revealed to the Avengers Kang's stronghold at the end of time. Further explaining that the Time Tether had been anchored to the end of time, the future Vision suggested using "Time Bombs" to simultaneously attack at Kang's resources, the energies of which would magnify throughout time and destroy all of Kang's resources as the energies were pulled back to the Time Tether's anchored timeline, Kang's end of time stronghold. When Wasp questioned why the "Bombs" going off simultaneously mattered over the course of billions of years, the future Vision explained that the Time Tether worked using a quantum string that existed in all realities, impressing Wasp. After gathering Avengers from throughout time, the present-day Avengers then began their strikes against Kang in three different time periods, setting and leaving their "Time Bombs" as present-day Vision and future Vision watched, ready to activate the Time Tether.

(Avengers VI#6) - When one group of Avengers set off their "Time Bomb" at Kang's weapons cache in ancient Egypt, the energies released fed into the Time Tether's quantum string and were funneled through time as Spider-Man commented how two more blasts like that would end Kang's at the end of time. A short time later, another squad of Avengers set off a "Time Bomb" in 7215 A.D., which again funneled into the Time Tether. Not long after, in 4022 A.D., the third squad of Avengers managed to set off their "Time Bomb," whose energies funneled into the Time Tether and pulled to the end of time alongside the energies of the other "Time Bombs." The energies then depowered Kang and destroyed his stronghold but unfortunately, Kang's form was replaced with that of his future counterparts, the Scarlet Centurion and Immortus.
